Primavera Veggies

Primavera Sauce

You will use the tomato sauce above as the base for these vegetables.


  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup chopped squash
  • 1 cup chopped zucchini
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • salt and pepper


  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet.

  2. Add the chopped veggies and red pepper flakes to the skillet.

  3. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the veggies are tender - al dente - about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Stir in the prepared marinara and cook to heat through, about 2 minutes.

  5. Serve with pasta, zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash.
