I set out to write a post about track pants and quickly realized that I like just about anything with a side stripe. They’re all over the place and really cute. Since I’m an overall stripe aficionado, it makes sense that I’d jump on this trend.
It was love at first sight with this white denim skirt. Although it’s hard to see the detail here (who knew that photographing white would be so hard), you can see the pockets and buttons down the front in the link. The stripe is a ribbon and the whole skirt has an unfinished hem. I love this Sandro white sweater with black and red stripes. The bows on the sleeves are the best part! The whole outfit felt a little sixties so the white booties worked perfectly.
Track pants can obviously be worn with sneakers but I love them with heels. These white mules are a summery version of white boots. They look great with everything and seemed perfect for dressing up these pants. The snap buttons on the side can be opened up a little on the bottom or left closed. I finished off the look with a graphic tee that keeps selling out at Nordstrom but is finally back in stock.
This denim skirt has a ribbon stipe down the side. I’m wearing it with a black tee from last year but included a link for Madewell’s whisper cotton v-neck tee. They come in 7 colors and are a great summer basic. I added my favorite Vince platform sneakers (comes in 6 colors) and ran off to do errands, with coffee of course!
